Depending on the kinds of leaders you have encountered in the past, the word "leadership" might conjure up a variety of distinct images. You might be able to recognize a variety of school administrator leadership styles if you go back to your time in school as a student and your years of teaching. Some of these were more successful than others, and you probably have some leadership styles you want to imitate and others you want to steer clear of. Although there is always something to learn from the past, 21st century leaders are needed to help pupils get ready for the future.

You have a duty to comprehend the art of school leadership in the twenty-first century, regardless of whether you're an established or aspiring principal or head of school, vice or deputy principal, team leader or department head, another member of school leadership teams, or an emerging leader still looking for the right school leadership positions.

Given that education in the 21st century is a new field and that 21st century learners are a distinct breed, strategic school construction leadership is crucial. Since 2015, a large portion of the students attending schools belong to a brand-new generation called Generation Alpha. These kids were raised in a different world than previous generations because they were born around 2010 or later. They have never known a world without 3D television, drones, tablets, cellphones, or apps. They have grown up with technology, just as Generation Z, and are very accustomed to it. Many of them received cellphones or tablets before they could even walk.

Our students now have access to more information than we could have imagined even a few decades ago because to this extraordinary level of technology. By employing the materials at their disposal, users can virtually educate themselves everything they want to know. Additionally, they are not aware of the boundaries that used to firmly limit our perception of the world. At the stroke of a button, young children can communicate with individuals anywhere in the world. They have more and more friends who live abroad, and they expect to travel abroad frequently as they get older.

Leaders of 21st-century schools joyfully take on the difficult mission of educating children for the future, and they carefully consider the objectives and frameworks that will help them in this endeavor.

Educational administration is the process of establishing and preserving a learning environment in any formal educational setting, such a school, college, university, or other institution.

Making sure that the educational process proceeds without hiccups or interruptions is the primary goal of educational management. Educational managers must be able to plan and coordinate the many activities and resources needed for the educational process to do this.

They must also be able to monitor and evaluate the progress of the educational process and make necessary changes or adjustments when needed. In short, educational management is all about ensuring that the educational process is carried out effectively and efficiently, so that learners can achieve their desired learning outcomes.

Students work in a variety of educational settings, including research and evaluation, organization, communication, and information management. A best practice for allocating resources and budgets governs how institutions are managed. Effective teaching and learning must be supported, promoted, and maintained in education. Improved schools meet the needs of students and teachers, and they improve the quality of education. Relationships can be improved by administrators. On-site staff is on call to assist with the company’s needs as well as to improve its financial management. Through their presence, the parent-institution relationship can be strengthened, and a community relationship strengthened. Education management can be centralized, decentralized, or internal managed, depending on the type of education management used.

Educational Management is the process by which a school or college is organized, directed, and organized. The job of an institution’s vice president is to lead, manage, and control the institution’s activities so that they can effectively and efficiently carry out the functions of teaching, extension, and research.

Establishing Unified Workplace

In the world of remote work, the COVID-19 pandemic has presented significant challenges. Employees are required to work outside of their regular office spaces, in their respective locations. This created a significant issue for project management and teamwork at work. Technical difficulties worsen and become more frequent, and team communication becomes disjointed. Organizations have used a variety of strategies to address these issues, including hiring an IT firm to support their IT-related operations.

The institutional world has long struggled with communication and collaboration issues, especially for businesses with multiple offices. By developing a set of principles, values, and guidelines to control a variety of teams, establishing a unified company culture becomes a business endeavor in and of itself. With so many departments to manage, leaders are having a difficult time fostering an integrated culture. Growing a business may sound great, but competition forces teams to form information silos or barriers at work that prevent communication with coworkers. By decreasing the organization's efficiency and sense of teamwork, this poses a serious threat to its corporate culture.

When we picture the perfect workplace, it focuses on a workplace culture where people look forward to going to work rather than seeing it as just a place to make money. Because of this, developing a consistent company culture should always begin with the hiring process and be discussed frequently with new employees.

In addition to education and experience, personality is a critical factor in hiring. Companies can gain a deeper understanding of which candidates fit the organization's goals and culture by taking personality assessments seriously. In other words, you start by identifying candidates who fit well with the company's culture.

Prospective employees respond favorably to a thorough hiring process that emphasizes organizational culture. By demonstrating its dedication to hiring the best talent, it improves the company's reputation and candidates' perception of it.

They collaborate with educators from various schools and organizations to create instructional strategies and change curricular goals as necessary. Educational managers also oversee department budgets, allocating sufficient funds and supplies to support the academics and extracurriculars of students. A Father’s Greatest Love! (Part I)

Maria Carmel E. Magdaong

Administrative Assistant II

Anislag National High School Albay Division

Every father wanted to have a daughter. And every daughter dreamed of becoming a father’s pet. When I was young, my father, a good teacher at that, taught me to become a good person. True to his aspiration, I knew within that indeed I have that golden heart he always wanted me to possess. My papa has been my strength and weakness. When I’m with him, I feel secured and loved. But without him, I feel alone and sad. He is everything to me. He is my world. But one day in my adolescence, I’ve gone into a rowdy person. I would disobey him. Perhaps it was because of my environment. I chose the wrong friends, thus making me the naughty version of the new me. It went on until one day; I realized my mistakes that dragged on for quite a long time, to my father’s disappointment. It made me felt so down. I cried in silence. My wrongdoings got me judged by some people around me. I got mistreated, and I got lost. These rendered me into that feeling of emptiness. All along these, there’s only one person who never left me, my father. He defended me from judgmental people. In fact, he once said, “Nobody is perfect; everyone has flaws.” He assured me that such fate I was in was not the end, encouraging me then to stand up and fix myself. Assuring, he consequently helped me to stand strong and be confident anew. He did all his best effort just to assure my good future. Years passed by; I already had my family to build. He was still around to support me. I am truly blessed to have a father like him. In this world, not everyone is lucky by chance to have a father who will sacrifice and give all his love for a daughter — A father’s greatest love!

The Vast Changes of the New Normal

Dennilyn E. Pangilinan

Teacher III, Lauis National High School

Most days, I wander and feel hopeless around the four corners of my classroom. Reminiscing the past and looking forward for the future. And now, I am here, we are here, in the present.

For more than two years, there are no signs of busy students, moving from place to another, lurking around teasing each other. There are no noisy teens raising their hands to recite or ask questions. There are no groupings, no interactive activities, no performances, no laughter, no busy bees because for two years, there is no face-to-face classes.

We all tried to cope up with the abrupt changes we had to face amid the pandemic. We held on to online classes and modular distant learning and yes, we all struggled but since we are Filipinos who are known for resiliency, we rise up and tried to survive. And we have come into this very moment. After a very long time, the face-to-face classes is back!

The moment I step into my classroom, I look into unfamiliar eyes, faces covered by mask, different body physiques and I see very little movements --- as if everyone is shy and reluctant.

Suddenly, I realized this is the first day these learners step into the classroom after more than two long years.  The students stand up warily then softly said “Good morning, Teacher!”.

Excitedly, I answered them with a warm welcome back to school greeting!

I was waiting for sweet smiles that can be seen through their eyes in return, but sadly, I received none. But nevertheless, I motivate them to cheer up as we continue to grasp this moment that we all waited for.

The agony of waiting for this day has come to an end. On the first day of face-to-face classes, we had the psychological first aid.

As the clock ticks, each student slowly opens up about their experiences in the new normal in education. They all shared how they struggle to cope up with self-learning.

Sooner, they expressed how happy and excited they were to attend school. Accepting that the pandemic has changed many different lives in many different ways has taken its toll on their young minds.

I admire the bravery, honesty and vulnerability of these young ones. I salute their parents too. They have proven that education is one of the most important things a person should possess.

Though the students feel shy, uneasy and reluctant on this first day, I am positive that sooner or later, the cheerfulness they had in pre pandemic will soon come back.

All of us need to lend each other the will to be brave, strong and happy. Indeed, education never stops, and we will bounce back until all is back to normal.

These days, I still wander and feel hopeful around the four corners of my classroom. Reminiscing the past and looking forward for the future. And now, I am here, we are here, in the present.
