TEACHING YOUNG MINDS IN THE RESUMPTION OF FACE-TO-FACE CLASSES
Alexander A Abarra
Teacher I, Baquioen Elementary School
SDO I Pangasinan, Region I
In person classes were formally resumed in our country. Due to minimal restrictions, learners are finally going to school every day. Upon entering the school premises the eagerness of the learners to learn are felt in their faces. It was notable that they missed and loved going back to school. Teachers are very glad to see every learner happy and learning.
As an innovative and 21st century teacher we must do our best not just to nurture but to produce a globally competitive individual wherein they are fully equipped and ready to face the real world that we are facing right now.
To draw the interest and proper motivation of the pupils the teachers should learn to apply techniques that will guarantee the prior motivation to their pupils to religiously comply with the learning activities provided for them. Through this, they could help the pupil’s better ways of studying and develop a good study habit.
Teachers should teach their learners from the heart, not just from the book they are reading. Learners are easily learning if they feel that teachers cared for them. Teachers must praise their learners in every correct answer and opinion they give. Always keep them reminded that classrooms are rooms for correction, learning and improvement. There are no wrong answers for learners who are eager to learn. They must be guided properly by providing motivation, fun and exciting activities.
Learners must be given the freedom to express their thoughts and ideas. To maintain a child-friendly, gender-sensitive, safe and motivating environment teachers must include their learners in creating the does and don’t inside the classroom. Through this, learners are kept reminded about the good and bad actions they will undertake. Of course, teachers must follow up on it. With this action, surely learners will be disciplined and obey the rules and regulations implemented.
Teaching is not just a profession instead it is a mission. Imparting knowledge is a genuine feeling. Knowing that the learners are learning is priceless. It is a mission therefore we must do our best in providing quality education among our learners.
THE INFLUENTIAL VOICE OF SCHOOL FIGUREHEADS

The Department of Education (DepEd) frequently appears in the headlines, particularly now that a virus outbreak has damaged out. Adaptive Learning was incorporated by DepEd to give students an option. There are two sorts of flexible learning: online courses and modular distance learning programs. Funds are required in both cases. The financial state of Filipinos determines whether they can manage flexible learning.
An online class necessitates educational content as well as student tools. Computers, mobile phones, and network connectivity are essential for virtual classrooms. Modular distance learning necessitates finances for publishing student components that will be distributed on a predefined plan. These are just a handful of the new problems that have slowed the school's operations.
Throughout catastrophic events, the most complex challenge for instructional leaders is assigning teaching aids. Becoming a successful school leader necessitates a blend of character, academic background, and abilities. It necessitates a significant number of modifications and troubles for them to gain the necessary knowledge and skills. Notwithstanding the allegations about the reliability of education offered in the Philippines, one thing is certain is that school administrators are adaptable enough already to accommodate themselves and their proposals in any situation.
School principals are the new leaders in points time of academic recession. They are also cognizant of the warning signs of a failing school. If school staff and students are unaware of the institution's scheme and tasks, the school is on the edge of failing. Lack of intelligence among school shareholders will only add to the school's strain rather than contribute to instructional success.
The final sign of a floundering school is when its figureheads are unable to allocate the funds for a commendable function. If there is a hole in the boat, it starts to sink, and somebody has to provide anything to plug the hole. School administrators are heroes as well as experts.
An institution's capacity to create and sustain professional learning networks is reliant on its capacity to optimize and assist people. The involvement of modern education governance in transforming traditional schools into professional learning groups. The number of school employees who are involved in the project's preparation, arranging, execution, and assessment has increased. The application of an ameliorative viewpoint boosts the demand for federalism to be implemented.
An excellent leader has to convey their aspiration not only with utterances but also with behavior. An excellent leader has a strong sense of self-worth and demonstrates it to everyone with whom they interact. No leader can act like someone else or presume to be someone they are not. A vociferous instructional leader genuinely cares about their society and is completely committed to making each day at class better.
EDUCATIONAL LEADERSHIP REASONING

According to an article, school heads and administration staff are second only to educators in terms of their role in student learning. Headteachers achieve this by giving clear orientation and fostering instructor talent.
Headteachers could indeed overcome challenges to student achievement by utilizing a thoughtful educational leadership philosophy. Those who want to build strong instructional societies should take a glance into an internet Master of Education program throughout Educational Management. Becoming an educational leader requires a clear philosophy and a plan for implementing that philosophy.
Principals as well as school officials should have basic values about what it signifies to be an effective leader. These belief systems could be derived from experience as a teacher under an efficient or incompetent leader, literary works, and leadership experience. Headteachers also must take into account how they can use their positions of power to nurture collaboration.
Headteachers must embrace a vision that they believe includes the same best teaching methods and the most effective learning goals. Those who must demonstrate that one‘s vision is coherent with their educators' core ideas and values. Some head teachers presume that enlisting input from one‘s staff on mission and vision enhances buy-in.
School administrators must hold a thorough set of values as to what creates represent a set of standards. This commonly involves thinking about the questions posed. School heads must consider the appropriate educational models and experiential learning that will have the biggest effect on students. Moreover, they need to look for the best way for a school to incorporate special education into the overall curriculum.
Students will learn about quality standards for instructional leadership, leadership morality, and school improvement methods. Headteachers can transform one‘s schools by getting trained in educational leadership. Learn how such an online master's degree can help you release a good career as a school leader. You have such an obligation to comprehend the craftsmanship of educational leadership whether you're a current or attempting principal as well as head of the school, vice or head of departments principal, team captain, or head of the department.
There is constantly something to learn about history, but preparing educators for the future necessarily requires forward-thinking. Leadership is crucial because schooling in the 21st century is a frontier. Many of the classmates who have managed to enter schools as of 2015 seem to be representatives of a new creation. They've don't ever known life before mobile phones, drones, touchscreen computing, applications, and 3D television.
THE WONDERFUL STORIES OF EXCEPTIONAL EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTION

Leadership is indispensable for educational excellence in any college. The top schools will employ an impactful principal or a collective of principals. Daily, a leader should indeed interact with several other admins, teachers, support personnel, students, and family members. There is no separate solution to this question, but rather a combination of traits and qualities that result in an excellent leader. A leader recognizes that respect must be worked hard to earn gradually.
They are capable of devising practical results that help all people concerned. Leaders provide the potential for others to be their finest. They give their undivided attention to everyone else. A leader gives up private time to offer assistance where and whenever it is required. A leader recognizes that the features of a machine are what keep the machine running as a whole.
They recognize which aspects have been perfectly alright, which require minor repairs, and which might have to be updated, supplemented, or changed. When an instructor does not cooperate with a leader's attempts to assist them to optimize, the leader has to make a reasonable decision that will bring the best consequences to the majority.
Developing strategic school systems is not easy or simple, and modifications do not come immediately. However, it is feasible to create prolific school systems for all schoolchildren with both a coordinated and consistent initiative on the part of administrators, educators, relatives, and students. School systems appear to be locations in which both children's and adults' education and learning mechanics are well-constructed and synchronized.
Lofty hopes for faculty and students with the presumption that everybody can succeed. Significant structured period for genuine, demanding, and coherent teaching throughout components and school systems. Enhance sustainability, assistance, and independence to create decisions and execute projects in the finest interests of students. Common ground, collaboration sharing, and quality expectations are emphasized and reaffirmed in school cultures, value systems, and appreciation.
Governance in more effective schools is distributed among several people and is centered on a shared definition of what constitutes essential top-notch education. There are mechanisms in place to support effective teaching, as well as an educational environment that promotes collaborative team, and group efforts. School systems do not need to undergo a major transformation to get the results they seek. They must, however, examine themselves intimately and discover methods for recognizing what fits while changing what does not.
NOURISHING FILIPINO DISCIPLINE AMONG FILIPINO LEARNERS
MELANIE M. MARARAC

The English language is indeed significant in global demand. It is termed to be the universal language in which different cultures understand each other through using this language. In fact, most parents trained their children to speak English even at an early age. It is indeed astounding and adorable to hear young children speaking in English fluently. What more if they got the proper accent? However, most of these English-expert children struggle in speaking their native language which is Tagalog.
Several of us who were born and raised in English-speaking households are aware that Tagalog is not our greatest strength. We very seldom have the chance to utilize Tagalog, particularly if other states or individuals speak English. Some of us even hardly communicate with classmates in Tagalog.
The Philippine Constitution of 1935 compelled the adoption and development of a national language based on one of the established native languages. Tagalog was suggested as the basis for the country's national dialect by the Institute of National Language (INL) in 1937. When Japanese forces occupied the country in 1942 and forbade the speaking of English, Tagalog have become more popular. President Laurel issued Executive Order No. 44 to establish the school curriculum, which encompassed the regeneration of the University of the Philippine Islands and the advancement of the national language. English became the primary method of instruction once more, with Tagalog learned as a prerequisite in both elementary and secondary schools.
Almost all subject discipline was taught in English. Beginning with the 1978-1979 school year, the incorporation of Filipino in the subject matters specified was set to become compulsory by law in both primary and secondary schools. The Department of Education, Culture, and Sports (DECS) Order provided no precise framework for delivering the bilingual curriculum at higher institutions.
Moreover, some schools do not provide Filipino subjects. However, it is a Department of education's requirement, and learning and instructing Filipino can be difficult. To make life simpler, we could indeed start with simple sentences. Hold one another responsible while using Tagalog by attempting to correct one another's statements as necessary.
A few individuals assume that Filipino is only spoken by individuals from modest backgrounds. Some countries in Southeast Asia, respect Filipinos and consider our accents somewhat enticing. Regretfully, the only way to overcome it is to start practicing Tagalog talking, composing, and reciting.
Even though Filipino is difficult, it only requires a small additional effort. There are various Videos online with Filipino subtitles that your children can watch. It has the potential to be a learning opportunity, particularly if we find mobile applications and YouTube video content that instruct students on how to speak Filipino.

The sole function of a leader is to generate an operations and maintenance atmosphere in which other people can do amazing things. The most successful school administrators include a real direction and sense of guidance for the school. The rest of the school organization presses everyone to go beyond their comfort zones to ensure their students' success.
The connection between educational governance and the pathway to success is complex, yet they are inextricably linked. Figureheads should be readily available and accessible to continue providing instruction as required. They must convey information in a manner that one‘s staff can comprehend. Because timing is crucial, taking the opportunity to get to know the individuals who work for you makes things more straightforward and convenient for everyone.
Society has voluntarily and reluctantly adjusted innovation, interpersonal, and neoliberal policies over the past 100 years. Public views of leadership may alter in the twenty-first century, especially in educational settings. As a result, we can define 21st Century Governance as a managerial point of view designed to address the unique issues and opportunities of the modern environment.
The transformation of the mobile phone, the advent of electronic as a channel, and the conception of social networks are just a handful of the game-changing developments that have taken place in the twenty-first century. Becoming a mainstream press and digitally educated principal leadership fosters expertise as they become not only a 'leader,' but also a manufacturer because of their capacity to create engaging interactive content for their team and schoolchildren.
Also because the world is evolving so quickly, the governance they demonstrate must be flexible and adaptive and sufficiently overcome obstacles. A practical approach to maintaining culture and its effect on lengthy organizational effectiveness is necessary for effective leadership. To meet the requirements of their students, instructional leadership and administration should double or multiply their hard work and results.
School principals have previously been named upon it to direct during times of confusion. Directing through transformation necessitates a wide range of skills, such as non-behavioral, non-practice-related management elements that affect the essence of leadership practice and behavior. Being capable of changing and modifying leadership behaviors and relying upon what is required is critical for being an excellent leader.
Responsive or complicated problems can be contacted in a variety of ways, with possible answers. Collaboration, acquiring knowledge, and adjustment are all required for leadership effectiveness. By outlining 6 main responsive instructional leadership,
Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE): Molders of Young Filipinos

A child's early development is a crucial stage in an individual's entire life cycle. This is where a person develops their social, mental, physical, and emotional aspects. Development in early childhood lays the groundwork for future generations academic attainment, productive capacity, civic engagement, enduring wellbeing, community spirit, and viable parental involvement.
Experiences during early childhood influence children's capacity to comprehend and react appropriately to everyday challenges and difficulties. There are numerous key ideas that can aid us in comprehending neurodevelopment. Children who are adequately appreciated and cultivated form a plethora of cognitive interactions. Self-regulation refers to a child's developing capacity to manage his emotions, behavior, and interest. This embodies his development from a vulnerable newborn to a capable child. The elderly can look for ways to strengthen children's abilities and devise methods for dealing with hurdles.
Parental involvement in high-quality early childhood programs and services has been associated with beneficial children's development including enhanced vocabulary, literacy, numeracy, academic achievement, and interpersonal skills. The greatest benefits to children are obtained once parents participate and interact with professionals such as teachers.
Early childhood care and education (ECCE) and elementary education strive to meet a person's educational, affective, intellectual, and basic needs holistically in order to lay a steady foundation for continued learning and overall health. According to United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), ECCE has the potential to develop compassionate, competent, and fully accountable future generations. In the Philippines, the state schools' age categories are from 6 to 12 years old which pertains from nursery towards Grade 6. The majority of early education teachers were selected from within the primary service providers who meet the requirement of being able to teach young Filipinos.
The role of the teacher is a challenging but gratifying profession. The first educators of a child are the individuals who establish the standard for teaching methods. They could perhaps inculcate a passion for school in a child, but they can also nurture negative feelings in a child if they aren't cautious. The potential of the instructor to pique a child's interest in subjects including math, reading skills, and scientific knowledge can influence the kind of student the child will be during school life. Primary school teachers can teach various topics at the same time.
This enables them to observe their pupils in a variety of contexts. For instance, a student who troubles with basic arithmetic but thrives in reading will be able to demonstrate his strong points to his instructor rather than just his flaws.
Dealing with the Impact of Pandemic on Learners’ Mathematical Skills
Donamae A. Cureg
Teacher I, Delfin Albano High School
The worldwide "stay at home" orders enacted in early 2020 to prevent the spread of COVID-19 provide a random chance to assess how digital applications impact our everyday lives. In several aspects of our life, we scarcely had to sweat; advances in video conferencing and online buying, for example, made the situation significantly more palatable than it would have been even five years ago. However, we also learned that one of the world's most important sectors – education – was unequipped to continue "life as normal." Teachers, students, and parents scrambled to determine how to implement education.
The Problem
Disturbance in schools has also interrupted testing, making it difficult to determine how much school closures and transitions into and out of virtual and modular learning have impacted student learning. Available data online are not encouraging, especially in arithmetic. Several factors may make Math more prone to pandemic-related classroom interruptions. Unlike reading, Mathematics is usually taught officially in school. Parents are often unequipped to assist their children with Mathematics when parental involvement is more vital for student advancement. Pandemic-related stress and trauma may enhance Math anxiety in certain learners, and this anxiety might intensify other forms of stress in learning. Remote platforms may make it more difficult for educators to participate in successful Mathematics education.
The students struggled to understand the lessons and complete the exercises in the Mathematics self-learning module. Even before the COVID crisis, students struggled to understand Mathematics due to various problems that remained throughout the COVID outbreak. In addition, several students struggled to comprehend topics utilizing exponents, such as number squares.
Mathematics is notorious for its abstract ideas, which add to its complexity. Students lack the essential knowledge of fundamental ideas involving variables and exponents, making it challenging to comprehend mathematical course topics. Most students struggled to use variables as generalized numbers and variable quantities.
The limited examples provided in the module prompted the challenging experiences of the students in learning difficult lessons because, at times, the examples provided do not correspond with the activities in the module to be answered, resulting in the students' inability to answer the module's activities. Given the examples in the self-learning module, it may be the sole source of direction for the learners. However, Mathematics self-learning modules include just a few examples for each subject, occasionally distinct from the module's activities. As a result, when the students attempted to complete the module's tasks, they could not do so since they lacked sufficient information on addressing the numerous challenges. Modular distance learning (MDL) is advantageous for learners, but effective learning needs crucial learning materials.
Possible Solutions
The demand for teacher training in new ed-tech platforms and technologies may supplant traditional professional development requirements. The COVID-19 pandemic revealed that, despite significant advances in videoconferencing technologies over the past few years, existing digital learning technologies are incapable of assisting teachers in providing the challenging, collaborative problem-solving required for all students to develop solid mathematical skills. Math teachers' dearth of content knowledge and pedagogical content expertise was a pre-COVID issue. It is considered one factor affecting students’ acquisition of mathematical skills. As we transition to online education and instructors are required to handle so much more, they may not have the opportunity to enhance their topic expertise. Instructors confront considerable obstacles in adjusting to online teaching, keeping minimal connection with students, and supporting the learning and growth of learners. However, it is uncertain to what degree educators have mastered these obstacles and which elements are most significant. The education sector must fill the gap in teacher preparation and training for remote teaching, including using technology to maintain the continuation of learning for students at a distance.
The importance of parental support for student learning is one of the most prevalent topics in learning loss studies. Students with highly active parents who participate in educational activities throughout the weekend will likely have less learning loss. Moreover, early analyses of the reactions to the pandemic indicate that schools increasingly rely on families to assist with education during the present crisis. Mathematically, this may be a heavier lift. Suppose a district shifted to a common-core-aligned program or another kind of new curriculum. In that case, instructors may use their training as a model to consider math procedures likely to confuse parents and give short videos or conversations to help them prepare. Educators may recommend math-related games and applications encouraging families to engage in math-related talks at home. According to several studies, children of math-anxious parents who frequently utilized a family-oriented math application made more arithmetic gains than students of comparable parents who did not use the application.
In negotiating synchronous learning settings, many teachers were confronted with the challenging problem of supporting student engagement and student-to-student interactions remotely in a manner that respected students' privacy and the needs of their learn-at-home conditions. The digital collaboration platform should take synchronous learning one step further, collaborating with technologies such as Facebook to facilitate virtual talks and allowing students to see both the result and the process of each other's problem-solving. More emphasis should be placed on creating educational technologies that enable student involvement rather than teacher-centered solutions that emphasize learning management.
Anyone may be awed by the instructors' determination to maintain high standards for student learning despite the stress they were undoubtedly feeling in their own lives. They courageously accepted the challenge and spent numerous hours creating an approachable but effective mathematics learning environment. We must desire that the difficulties and tragedy of the COVID pandemic will inspire new and enduring interest in creating curriculum and collaborative digital platforms that are adaptable to alterations in where learning must occur.

Becoming computer numerate or obtaining a certain level of computer-related competence is generally acknowledged as a key factor that determines success. Children are instructed to use computer systems at an early age, and a few recognize how to navigate them without adult intervention. A significant amount of research has previously been conducted to determine basic computer literacy abilities that all learners are required to receive.
Computer literacy corresponds to a person's opportunity to secure, analyze, and effectively articulate relevant data via media and online services. This concept isn't conclusive because it evolves in response to emerging technological advances in computer innovation. Digital literacy highlights the skills required to comprehend and live in an environment where the availability of information is expanding via electronic tools such as the internet, social platforms, and even our smart applications.
New skills and expertise can be incorporated, and the possibilities are endless. Computer literacy can be taught in the classroom. Electronic literacy is essential in a modern environment, notably in the Philippines. Schools in the Philippines provide electronic subject matters that could motivate learners to develop their skills.
Students with computer literacy can use technological devices to enhance their innovation and creativity in their work. Moreover, it allows them to utilize all these logical, systematic, and rational competencies. Instructors have almost always highlighted the significance of teaching and learning to educators, as the role of the teacher is also an aesthetic, and e-learning should now be acknowledged as the cornerstone of modern education. The ability to conduct real research, interact and communicate, adjust to new technology, be acquainted with operating systems, and enlighten as well as clarify the devices employed are all qualities that electronically intellectual people should ultimately acquire over time.
The online revolution provides numerous advantages not just to students but to everyone. On the other hand, it may also be risky if not properly understood. Parents, instructors, and students should focus on the assimilation of technological tools use with a commitment to optimizing the learning experience. To be literate is no longer sufficient in the current world. Nevertheless, it ought to be fully grasped that computer literacy spreads further than the mere use of a computer.
In the above-explained context, the Department of Education Computerization Program (DCP) aspires to equip effective technological techniques and theories in state schools to improve the curriculum workflow and fulfill the requirements of the twenty-first century. Its primary objective is to impart basic information and instruction about computer equipment and software, in addition to simple troubleshooting, to school systems. With this particular topic, nobody will be left behind and therefore will modify to advancement, as computer systems are the world's game changer.
THE HUMANITY OF LEADERSHIP: EDUCATIONAL LENSES
RICHELLE B. REGIO
Brgy. Bulo, Victoria, Tarlac
Schoolchildren are regarded as the world's largest as well as humanity's career, and a leader is regarded as a plausible handbook for their headway. Every year, students are confronted with various school principals from their respective schools. Their occurrence is widely esteemed and honorable, so the students all understand who they should appreciate and search up to.
Valuable educational leadership is broadly acknowledged as an essential constituent of school development, with a major impact on educational quality and performance. A strong leader makes the most significant participation when it is particularly needed, and it is impossible to assess regardless of whether students are functioning well or otherwise without the guidance of model guides since all of their job positions are devoted to the student's well-being and perspective.
The primary goal of instructional leaders is to have the highest expected impact on the daily lives of schoolchildren. They collaborate with management to reach the accomplishment that those who anticipate for the students. School principals strive to instill abilities and knowledge that students can utilize even after they graduate. Their impact on companions may be brief and unnoticed, however, the outcomes are profound.
Leaders achieve their objectives by employing the assistance of everyone else. The impact is governed by a set of guidelines that can be understood and applied. Among the fundamentals are legitimacy, interdependence, emotional connection, responsible entity, passion, and commitment. Leaders must also be critical thinkers and also be equitable while tackling problems and staff.
An instructional leader's integrity characterizes who they are as an individual, and they should be a reliable and consistent source of trustworthy personal data that leads to an efficient outcome. Discovering what is desirable in the leader individually includes personality, outlook, and life perspective. There will be no advances or expansion for the educational institution if it defies logic.
Standing at the pinnacle doesn't imply ultimate control. Great academic leaders must be exactly equivalent members of the group. A powerful instructional leader values everybody's presence in the institution. They recognize that they will encounter hurdles and discouragements along the manner, but instead of surrendering, they figure out ways to counteract them.
An impacting instructional leader appreciates everybody's presence in the institution, rejoices when somebody equates a team and finishes the task, is enthusiastic regarding monitoring the task's advancement, and is constantly prepared to continue providing feedback and input once requested. Influence is extremely influential in defining governance.
