UNESCO reports that at the height of the pandemic, 1.6 billion children, or 94% of the world's students were facing school closures. In the Philippines, because of the advent effects of the COVID-19 virus, teachers and administrators were put to the task of revising and adapting course syllabi and requirements as they shifted to alternative or remote teaching modalities, both synchronous and asynchronous.
